Susan Gast offers services in addition to the "Susan Gast's Fabulous Five" ... such as proofreading, website headers, and logo creation. Read more on Susan's background here. She knows we all have different design strengths (and weaknesses) and when we get stuck, it's time to reach out for a helping hand.
With the advent of SaaS (software as a service) such as Creative Cloud
platforms from Adobe, the length of time needed to create an ad or a
webpage, in today's digital market, has vastly improved! Trouble is, if
you're not very PC-savvy, all the time-saving digital stuff in the world
is frustratingly worthless if you just can't make sense of it! Don't be
afraid to contact Susan — her prices are very reasonable — so reasonable she can't post them here!
Proofreading — A Couple of Free Tips
A Couple of Free Tips
When you've got your website set up to your liking, then it's time
to derive real income from it. Most of us succumb to AdSense, then we
include Affiliate income (Amazon). The next move is to create your own
product — of course!
Usually, that means creating your own eBook that
can be delivered via Amazon, or directly from your own website using
services such as "DPD Digital Product Delivery".
The benefit to having your eBook on the servers at DPD (or similar places like
eJunkie and JVzoo) means that you don't have to be at your computer 24/7
to fulfill orders!
If you've been busy writing an eBook to sell via your SBI website, then
don't forget to have another pair of eyes read it over before you put it
up for sale. Don't trust yourself to be the sole proofreader; you'll only see the
words you want to see.
Of course there's nothing wrong with proofreading
it yourself before you send it out to be proofread, and I have a suggestion: read it out aloud! I know that may seem funny, but it
really does force you to read what you've written, and you'll discover
that words can and should be rearranged to make the sentences easier and smoother to read.
Obviously, the more errors you catch and fix now, the less you'll spend on proofreading fees later.
